The Wicker Man stage production

A major new stage production of The Wicker Man is being planned by The Motion Group to open at the Assembly Hall as part of the 2009 Edinburgh Festival.  Gary Carpenter, one of the original composers/musical directors is the production’s Musical Supervisor and Robin Hardy, who made the original film, is working on the final script.  The production will use much of the original music, which has proved incredibly popular in recent years reaching cult status as a soundtrack.  There is an opportunity to invest in the production with The Motion Group on their website

Silva Screen’s recording of Richard Strauss’ Also Sprach Zarathustra features in the trailer for forthcoming film The House Bunny. Anna Faris stars as a former Playboy bunny who spices up the life of a group of serious minded female students. The film opens in the US on August 22nd and the UK on October 10th.
