Exodus Nomination

Silva Screen distributed label Tadlow Music has received a nomination at The International Film Music Critics Awards in the category of Best Re-Recording Of An Existing Score. The title in question is Ernest Gold’s powerful music for the 1960 film Exodus, a world premiere release of the full restored score conducted by Nic Raine and produced by James Fitzpatrick.

The International Film Music Critics Awards have announced their nominations for the very best of 2009. Christopher Young is in the running for Film Composer Of The Year with Drag Me To Hell nominated for Film Score Of The Year, Best Original Score For A Horror/Thriller Film and Film Music Composition Of The Year. Young is also in the running  for Best Original Score For A Drama Film with Creation .  Marvin Hamlisch and The Informant! and Debbie Wiseman’s Lesbian Vampire Killers feature in Best Original Score For A Comedy Film and Mychael and Jeff Danna for The Imaginarium Of Doctor Parnassus in Best Original Score For A Fantasy/Science Fiction Film. Winners will be announced on February 26th.
