Vampire movie Daybreakers is a hot tip for the first blockbuster movie of 2010 and is set for release on January 6th. Silva Screen will be releasing Christopher Gordon’s evocative orchestral score in the same month of which writers/directors Peter & Michael Spierig have written in their sleeve notes,  “We were very fortunate to be able to create the type of score we always imagined for the movie. Chris has captured the cold reality of the vampire world, juxtaposed with the warmth of humanity. Also the use of synthesisers in a few select moments gives an eerie, processed feel, (plus we’re huge fans of John Carpenter’s music from the 80’s)”.
