There’s a major treat in store for all fans of Doctor Who with a family  Prom Concert to be held at the Royal Albert Hall on Sunday July 27th. Murray Gold’s music will be vividly brought to life in one of the most revered concert halls in the world by the BBC Philharmonic and London Philharmonic Choir.

 Freema Agyeman (Martha Jones) is the guest presenter and she will be ably assisted by a selection of aliens from the series including Daleks and Cybermen. The intergalactic musical adventure will also include popular classical pieces with a time and space atmosphere and a special appearance of the Time Lord himself with a specially filmed clip featuring David Tennant.

The concert will feature live on Radio 3 and will be shown on BBC One at a later date.
