Susan Hill’s chilling Gothic ghost story, set in Victorian times, has been lifting the hairs on the back of theatre-goers necks for over twenty years and it is appropriate that the English horror institution that is Hammer Film Productions should bring this classic tale to the big screen. The British cast includes noteably Daniel Radcliffe as the central character, young lawyer Arthur Kipps, and Ciaran Hinds (Tinker,Tailor, Soldier, Spy) as his local ally Sam Daily. The score is by Marco Beltrami,American master of the horror/thriller genre, whose past work includes the Scream franchise, Resident Evil, i-Robot, Terminator 3: Rise Of The Machines and Repo Men. The Woman In Black score is due for release on the 12th of March on Silva Screen Records.
