Heading Up The Masters
Silva Screen’s vast and easily clearable catalogue of film and TV themes continues to grow, with intensive recording sessions having taken place in the past few weeks in London, Prague and the US. Details of these new titles will be announced soon but recently completed themes include Maybe Tomorrow (The Littlest Hobo), Wonder Woman, Miss Marple Theme (Margaret Rutherford) and The Love Boat.

Silva Screen Classical Favourites
The PPL have announced the UK’s most popular classical recordings of 2008 and Silva Screen feature two titles in the top 20. At number seven is Tito Beltran’s recording of Puccini’s Nessun Dorma from Turandot whilst number nineteen is The City Of Prague Philharmonic Orchestra’s recording of Howard Shore’s The Prophecy from The Lord Of The Rings.

Big Barclays Country
BBH London have created a succession of innovative adverts for Barclays Bank and their latest which premiered on ITV on April 25th features the Silva Screen recording of The Big Country. Jerome Moross’ stirring theme to the epic 1958 Western won an Oscar and is one the most instantly recognisable pieces of music related to the genre.
