July 20th marks the 35th anniversary of Kung Fu legend Bruce Lee’s untimely death. At the age of 32, while going through the script of Game of Death at the home of his colleague the Taiwanese actress Betty Ting Pei, Lee collapsed and was rushed to hospital but was dead on arrival. He had already shot 90 minutes of footage for Game of Death, but had interrupted it to make Enter The Dragon. Although he was never able to finish filming it, Game of Death was finished and released posthumously in 1978. John Barry’s score does not disappoint and includes the song “Will This Be The Song I’ll Be Singing Tomorrow” performed by Colleen Camp.
