Acclaimed film and TV music  composer Debbie Wiseman has had a long relationship with Silva Screen and we are delighted to begin 2011 with a prestigious new release. Channel 4 will begin broadcasting The Promise from Sunday February 6th over four weeks. This drama centres around a British girl who travels to Israel/Palestine and retraces the steps of her grandfather who was a British soldier stationed there in the 1940s. Debbie has drawn on Arabic and ethnic influences combined with The Royal Philharmonic Orchestra to create a fascinating score which will be released on February 21st.
