Jean-Pierre Jeunet is one of the most creative directors working in film today with an illustrious catalogue of releases that include Amelie and A Very Long Engagement. His latest, Micmacs, which opens in the UK on January 8th is a loving homage to Snow White And The Seven Dwarfs and the great silent comedian, Buster Keaton. Alongside a score by Raphael Beau, Jeunet employs vintage soundtrack material from the legendary Max Steiner. The Silva Screen recording of his music for the 1959 film The Hanging Tree is featured in this production.
