In 2009 Silva Screen booked Abbey Road Studios and the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra to record an orchestral tribute to the incredible Motown catalogue of songs. The Symphonic Sound Of Motown took the songs into a different dimension and Lamont Dozier on hearing it said, “This is one of the most exquisite albums I’ve listened to in years”. High praise from one of the writers of over 250 Motown songs with chart toppers across the world. His songwriting skills will be sadly missed. Listen to the album here.
