The former bass player of Japan, Mick Karn has died at the age of 52 after suffering from cancer. The Cyprus born musician formed the band in 1974 with David Sylvian and went on to work on many solo projects. Amongst these were two releases for the German label CMP, Bestial Cluster and The Tooth Mother which were reissued by Silva Screen in in 2008.  All at the company extend their condolences to his family.
