Silva Screen is saddened to hear of the passing of composer Monty Norman, the prolific contributor of British musicals, and the creator of the seminal 007 Bond theme for Dr No. Our label has a long history of re-recording Bond soundtracks for the digital era, working with arrangers and musicians using original score parts (some unheard), most notably inviting original guitarist Vic Flick to recreate Monty’s legendary theme.
