Silva Screen revisit one of their most popular soundtrack reissues this autumn with a 2CD 48 track special edition of John Carpenter’s atmospheric score for his 1980m film The Fog. This release features the original 14 track reissue paired with a second 20 track compilation of the entire score drawn from the original master tapes by long-time Carpenter collaborator Alan Howarth. Most film music fans will agree with John Carpenter’s viewpoint on the music, “I produced what I consider to be one of my best scores”. UK release is October 8th and US on October 16th.
