Writer/director/actor Peter Howitt made his film breakthrough with his international hit Sliding Doors, a film now rightly classified as a romantic comedy cinema classic. Major productions soon followed including the worldwide box office hit, James Bond spoof, Johnny English which starred Rowan Atkinson. He returns to UK screens on May 23rd with the release of Dangerous Parking, the screen adaptation of Stuart Browne’s cult novel about wastrel film director Noah Arkwright, a user and abuser who aims to destroy the addictions that haunt him. Howitt directed, took the lead role and wrote the screenplay for what is set to be one of the most talked about British films released this year.

Co-starring Saffron Burrows, Sean Pertwee and Tom Conti, this explosive tragi-comedy has already scored at the Tokyo International Film Festival where Howitt was acclaimed as best director.

The film features a subtle, yet powerful score by Andre Barreau which will be available to download from our website very shortly. Silva Screen has also been heavily involved in this project as music supervisors, sourcing and clearing a wide range of material ranging from Jim Croce to Elastica and includes a Silva Screen recording – Who Do You Love? performed by Lenny White and featuring soul diva Chaka Khan.
