Silva Screen is saddened by the news of the death of the supremely talented Japanese composer Ryuichi Sakamoto. In 2016 we released Film Fest Gent’s celebration of his remarkable catalogue of film music scores which included Merry Christmas Mr. Lawrence, The Last Emperor and The Revenant. This release has remained a firm favourite with film music fans over the intervening years and alongside the original CD release has appeared in a variety of vinyl versions.
