The Film Music Of Hans Zimmer (SILCD1238) was released in May 2007 and has proved to be one of the best selling titles in the Silva Screen catalogue worldwide.

This 2CD 23 track second volume highlights once more one of the most prolific film music composing careers in Hollywood history.

Three of the top ten highest grossing films of all time have Zimmer scores and all feature here, Pirates Of The Caribbean: Dead Man’s Chest and At World’s End plus The Dark Knight.

Over 135 scores in 27 years all spread across a diverse selection of genres and musical styles and eight Academy Award nominations (with one win) underline his prodigious talent.

This collection opens with music from the international blockbuster of 2011, Pirates Of The Caribbean – On Stranger Tides and works back to the triumph of The Lion King.

Includes the evocative music to Inception, the stirring but reflective theme from the HBO series The Pacific and the truly unique Discombobulate from Sherlock Holmes.
