“Music from The Legend of Zelda” — A Majestic Orchestral Journey Through a Beloved Gaming Franchise
Silva Screen Records is thrilled to announce the release of “Music from The Legend of Zelda,” an extraordinary orchestral album celebrating the timeless melodies of one of gaming’s most iconic series. Arranged by acclaimed composer Scott Buckley and performed by the world-renowned London Music Works, the album will be available worldwide on September 20, 2024.
For over three decades, The Legend of Zelda has captivated players with its immersive worlds, compelling narratives, and, most notably, its unforgettable music. “Music from The Legend of Zelda” brings together the most cherished themes from across the entire series, beautifully arranged and performed by London Music Works. From the heroic strains of the “Main Theme” from the first game, to the hauntingly beautiful “Zelda’s Lullaby,” each piece has been reimagined with the full grandeur of an orchestra.
Composer Scott Buckley, known for his cinematic arrangements and evocative compositions, has masterfully crafted these pieces to both honor the original works and breathe new life into them. His arrangements take listeners on a journey through the rich soundscapes of Hyrule, evoking the same sense of wonder and adventure that the games are known for.
London Music Works, celebrated for their impeccable performances of film, TV and game scores, bring their signature precision and emotion to this project, ensuring each note resonates with the magic and spirit of the Zelda series.
“Music from The Legend of Zelda” will be available on all major streaming platforms, as well as, starting now, with special edition vinyl available through the Diggers Factory website.
