London Music Works, the acclaimed orchestral collective behind some of the most celebrated re-recordings in film and game music joins forces with composer and arranger Scott Buckley for a breathtaking new album: Symphonic Fantasy: Music from Mythic Realms. This release reimagines the most beloved themes from across the Elder Scrolls universe in a fresh orchestral palette that honours the original scores while elevating them to cinematic new heights.
Spanning more than three decades of musical legacy; from Arena (1994) to The Elder Scrolls Online – the album offers a lovingly curated journey through the series’ most defining melodies. Buckley’s arrangements lean into the expansive, Nordic-inspired orchestral aesthetic of Skyrim, giving the full tracklist a cohesive sonic identity while preserving the character of each era and province of Tamriel.
With lush string writing, commanding brass, and sweeping emotional arcs, the album captures the soul of Tamriel in all its wonder, danger, mystery and majesty. Featuring the authentic Norwegian sound of the Hardanger fiddle, played by the acclaimed Olav Luksengård Mjelva.
