Original Television Soundtrack

WILD CHERRY is created and written by BAFTA-award winning Nicôle Lecky, who also stars in the show and serves as executive producer.

In Richford Lake things are perfect for super-mum Juliet (Eve Best) and business mogul Lorna (Carmen Ejogo), but when their teens Grace (Imogen Faires) and Allegra (Amelia May) are accused of a shocking scandal at their exclusive private school, toxic secrets and lies ripple throughout the community.

WILD CHERRY is a coming-of-age drama for both mothers and daughters as they navigate privilege, power and social media. “Like mother like daughter” rings loudly in a complex world, where danger and betrayal is never far from the surface – even in a perfect town.

The Multi-hyphenated Lecky wrote and performed the title sequence. She collaborated with composer Rotem Frimer on the theme tune.

Rotem Frimer is London-based composer and producer. She’s composed music for TV shows including The Many Deaths of Nora Dalmasso, Renaissance: The Blood and the Beauty, and Cleopatra’s Final Secret.

WILD CHERRY is produced by Firebird Pictures, part of BBC Studios, for BBC iPlayer and BBC One. It is written and created by Nicôle Lecky with Toby MacDonald (Extraordinary, Fifteen-Love) directing. The executive producers are Elizabeth Kilgarriff, Craig Holleworth for Firebird Pictures, Lisa Walters, Nicôle Lecky, Toby Macdonald – and Lucy Richer for the BBC. The producer is Ado Yoshizaki Cassuto.
