The Marsden & Richardson project was originally conceived as a contrast to their work with Band Of Skulls, opting for a more laid-back aesthetic. Admitting this new venture has been a dream for the duo ever since they first formed, the new self-titled album aims to highlight the pair’s more heartfelt and lovelorn songwriting, creating a breadth of warm and alluring songs that give off a heightened and more atmospheric feel.

“Tales of many experiences and emotions. Never before explored sonic landscapes and hidden corners. Sometimes raw and equally luxurious. Of being a songwriter and of being alive. Love and heartbreak, glory and failure, always hoping for forgiveness.”
