The centenary of Barry Gray’s birth will be celebrated on November 8th with a concert at The Royal Festival Hall in London. Barry was an integral part of the Gerry Anderson team that created the TV series that have now become such an enduring and integral part of popular culture in Great Britain. Over an eighteen year period he scored the music for twelve television series and four feature films with music that now almost epitomises the heady days of the 1960s. They include Stingray, Thunderbirds, Captain Scarlet and Joe 90 which will all be performed by the Philharmonia Orchestra at the event, hosted by actor Brian Blessed and featuring guest of honour Gerry Anderson.
